In reply to: Comments Always Going to Moderation…Grrr!Yeah, I’m aware that there’s something rotten with this mod. However, I really don’t see any choice. It’s the only mod out there that I’m aware of for Xoops and I that’s what I need right now.
I guess I didn’t realize that what I was asking was such a big deal. I thought that it would be a no-brainer for one of power users or developers to point me in the right direction. I guess that’s not the case.
Thanks!

In reply to: Comments Always Going to Moderation…Grrr!Hi Whoami,
Yeah, I saw that post in the wiki and checked that out. There’s nothing at all (no spaced or nothing) in my blacklist. Still all comments go into moderation.
I’m fairly sure that it’s my install that’s borked because I can’t set the time via the options interface either. I had to manually go and plunk my GMT offset into the database manually.

In reply to: Need Help To pulg in my rss feed into wordpressThanks for the tip.
I’m sure it’s been covered off a few times, but it’s hard to sift through all the rss feed posts to find what I’m looking for.
Thanks!

In reply to: Need Help To pulg in my rss feed into wordpressSo…hmmm….before I start messing around with this thing: I want to pull my dattica links (kinda like del.icio.us, but way better because I made it) into my blog via the dattica RSS feed.
Bascially, whenever I add a bookmark, I’d like it to post as a WP entry.
Is that the type of thing this plugin can do? It sounds like it, but I don’t see anything like that in any of Beel’s examples or anything.
Thanks!
Jon

In reply to: is_single() noobAny idea what would stop the is_single() function from working out of the blue? Mine completely fails to detect when a page is a single page all of a sudden. I’ve deactivated all my plugins and don’t know what else to try.
Basically, anything I put in a conditional if is_single() fails to execute on single pages…?
Very confused…

In reply to: RSS Feed BrokeAhhh…OK. I’ll stop banging my head against the wall then. You’re right, of course. As soon as I added my site to my desktop reader it pulled up the Feedburner feed right away.
Thanks for much for all your help on this. You’ve been more than helpful 🙂

In reply to: RSS Feed BrokeOK, thanks – I forgot about those links.
I think I’ve done all the right stuff – I’ve changed all the links in the header RSS lines to point to feedburner and I even have the feedburner plugin going, but when I try to sub to my site using autodiscovery with Bloglines, it presents me with all the feeds: RSS2, Atom, Feed, RSS, wp-rss2, wp-atom, and then finally my Feedburner feed.
I must be missing something, no?
Thanks!

In reply to: RSS Feed BrokeAahh….I consolidated the code a bit (taking out blank lines) and that seems to have helped. Cool.
Now…this is a topic for another thread, but can you possibly point me in the right direction to make the ‘auto discovery’ point to my feed burner feed rather than the ?feed=rss2 that you keep getting?
Thanks!

In reply to: RSS Feed BrokeGrrr…nope, that’s not it. There’s no blank lines that I can see.
I’ve notified the developer, but I don’t know if I’ll hear back.
Any other wild ideas?
Thanks!
