Sure I would like to present the solution for the forum community.

Unfortunately, I don’t know why the database cleanup program showed me “orphaned files”, the deletion of which ultimately meant that I couldn’t even get to the desktop, where I could have easily re-imported the previously created backup.

The next error had nothing to do with Worpress, but came from the provider.
When we wanted to update a backup from the previous day in the wpAdmin area, everything finally collapsed, not just the subdomain mentioned here. This morning, during a phone call with the provider’s service technician, it turned out that a password had been changed on the server side because the old password was not secure enough. But they had neglected to communicate this. – Now everything has been brought back to the state of the day before yesterday from the server-side and we have received the new password.

In any case, thank you again for the suggestions! 🙂

Jorge , thank you for your help!

The problem was finally solved on the server side.

I don’t dare use the plugin „Advanced Database Cleaner“anymore. I deleted it from my plugins.
On the other hand I ask myself, how I can clean up and delete unnecessary files ….

hi, thanks to steven and jorge …

unfortunately the hetzner – advice did not help.

and yes, I made a backup before I used the „Advanced Database Cleaner“ – the outcome was an xml-file. using this for repair in phpMyAdmin did not solve the problem.

a try going back to a backup from yesterday and the day before yesterday in the provider´s panel did not help either. I contacted the provider, who will hopefully help tomorrow.

meanwehile I’ve come up with another (perhaps pointless or stupid?) idea. since the files listed above obviously (or probably?) don`t exist anymore, maybe “repair” ist not the right option. Is there a way to insert the missing files in a way? –
