Hello, I’ve now discovered what my problem is with comments, and turns out it was very simple! I had set my blog so comments were switched off after 100 days, and all my posts were older than that. So nothing to do with themes or WordPress in the end, oops!

Hmm, yeah I wasn’t sure whether this was a theme problem or a WordPress problem. But I can get the comments form to show up on other pages weirdly.
I’m a bit nervous about switching to the WordPress default theme. Will doing this make me lose all the customisation I’ve to the Olsen Light theme?
It’s also worth mentioning that comments worked fine a couple of months again when I had a different theme on my website.
Oh marvellous, that custom CSS has worked. Now my static pages are full width – i.e. the same width as the blog page (posts + sidebar).
