Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Display Eventbrite Events] “There has been a critical error on this website”I should add that I know the plugin is causing the issue as the page loads when I deactivate it.
Thanks.
I thought so too – however on this earlier WordPress version I’ve installed only the most recent on the list appears to be labelled with [Autosave]
Thanks again for your help. One last question before I clock off – assuming the auto-save is not the issue, have you any other ideas I could investigate that may have caused all the last revisions to be duplicated with a different user?
Hello again esmi.
I’ve investigated your suggestions. It’s unlikely that the user was added the live platform at the earlier date as the live platform did not exist at that time.
I have discovered something however and would be grateful for your input:
I have checked the revisions for every page on the site for the two databases – April 2011 and August 2011.
April 2011 – everything looks as expected.
August 2011 – every single page has a revision by ‘janet’ from before she even existed. This revision is almost always the EXACT same time as the previous one by a different user, or extremely close. The next more recent one is usually from May, June or July.
Example 1:
25 May, 2011 @ 15:54 by janet
11 April, 2011 @ 16:20 by janet
11 April, 2011 @ 16:20 by brid
11 April, 2011 @ 16:19 by brid
11 April, 2011 @ 16:19 by bridExample 2:
26 May, 2011 @ 9:53 by janet
11 April, 2011 @ 16:42 by janet
11 April, 2011 @ 16:42 by bridExample 3:
27 July, 2011 @ 14:21 by janet
27 July, 2011 @ 14:21 by janet
12 April, 2011 @ 14:43 by janet
12 April, 2011 @ 14:43 by brid
12 April, 2011 @ 14:43 by brid
12 April, 2011 @ 11:40 by brid
12 April, 2011 @ 11:39 by brid
12 April, 2011 @ 10:36 by bridAll the dates of the revisions from janet (who didn’t exist at the time) are around the 11th or 12th of April.
As it was her job to read then amend the content of the entire site, could an autosave have occurred when she was reading? Could the pages then somehow have got stamped as the same time as the previous revisions – which were all round the 11th/12th.
Sorry to pickle your head with this – any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks again.
Thanks again on your prompt reply! I’ll investigate your suggestions and report back.
Thanks for your quick reply esmi.
I’ve checked the e-mail information as well as the user IDs – there do not appear to be any discrepancies. There are only 5 users on the site and the rest of the data indicates they have been using it with no issues for the last few years.
I forgot to mention that the site was moved from a development server to the live environment in between the times of these two backups. Could this have had an effect?
