I don’t use any special program to compress the files on Ubuntu. I just right click the file and choose compress. So, pretty basic isn’t it.
I can send you one of my ZIP files if that helps you to investigate this problem. I would love to do it. Let me know how I can send it to you and I’ll do it asap.
Thank you Tobias for sharing your knowledge about everything. I always leave this support forum a little bit wiser 😎
Truly. Thanks so much, Tobias. I don’t think I would have solved this problem without your comment. I couldn’t find much information about this online. Your answer was crucial.
I still have a couple of questions that have crossed my mind during the last days:
1. Is it possible to make the shortcode id match the file name by default when uploading csv files in bulk?
For example, if the file name is ryegrass-5, the shortcode would automatically be [tp_table id=ryegrass-5 /]?
2. My operating system is Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS. TablePress doesn’t accept the ZIP files that I create using my computer.
TablePress accepts the ZIP files if I upload the files to a third party service such as Google Cloud and download them as a ZIP file to my computer.
I’m not sure if you understand what I mean, but I thought I could try to ask that question since you seem to know a lot about ZIP files 😎

Thank you, brother. Your answer was enlightening. That info about file index is totally new to me. I’ll have to try it and see if it helps.
You’re doing so much good here.
It worked like a charm.
Thank you, Tobias!
