Same issue and assigning an invisible product to the category made it appear. This is frustrating seeing as this was not the issue with previous versions of woocommerce.

I am definitely encountering a problem where iThemes is preveting Wp Cron from running.
WP Cron works when iThemes is disabled.

I had a look at the latest version of the css and I believe using Navigation Selector: .pagination
will work.
