When i edit my post, I can go down to the bottom of the screen and it says COMMENTS and t is for me to post something, not others.
Then I went to the top of my screen and it says screen options, and discussion was not checked even though I had under settings to have discussions and both boxes labeled Allow comments are checked.

So, I figured it out, just weird that I had to do it in two different spots.

And if your not totally sick of helping me, How can I get the box around my photos to be gone.

I went to Settings → Discussion and yes I had clicked on what you recommended and I also did the following:
E-mail me whenever
CHECKED yes – E-mail me whenever Anyone posts a comment
CHECKED yes – A comment is held for moderation

The blog was set up to have comments off, but I want the comments to stay on.
