In reply to: How do I hide “/portfolio-type/”-pagesInteresting solution! Thanks, I will try that out.
I would however prefer to avoid having them at all, so if anyone knows a way of hiding/removing them, I would be grateful.
… and one last thing. Sometimes the following error message will appear after clicking on one of the images that are not working:
“We cannot complete this request, remote data could not be fetched”
I haven’t encountered any other Jetpack galleries with the same error.
I was thinking, that one of the differences between the typical gallery and mine is that my gallery has a large number of photos (43).
So I tested with a smaller amount (15) – same errors. Three images missing.
Your galleries look fine here.
I have tried my own gallery on two separate machines – on two separate networks + a phone on 4g – errors on all platforms.
I tried troubleshooting the random selection-function, thinking that it might have something to do with it
– I tried switching off random selection – one image fails – same image fails at every refresh.
– I switched it back on – now 5 images fail – different ones than the first time – and now the first one works.
– I switched it off – now all images work.
– On – 5 images fail….Thanks for checking on the different platforms. I’ve uploaded new images and the average size for each image is now appr. 200k. Which I think should be ok.
… but still 1-5 images fail each time the gallery loads. I won’t bother uploading a new screendump – it’s exactly the same as before – on different browsers and pc’s.
I have noticed that I am not the only one with this problem, but I still haven’t managed to find a solution:

https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/jetpack-tiled-mosaic-gallery-not-loading-all-images-1?replies=41Don’t you just love non-reproducible errors ;-). It works for me on an iPad but not on IE, chrome (pc) and Nexus 5. Perhaps Safari is fine – overall?
I just tried clicking on a handful of the images that are not displayed properly in the gallery – and it actually works. They open just fine and display the full photo when clicked upon.
At other points I have had some error messages, but that seems to be working all right now.
So the only issue is, that the tiled gallery doesn’t display properly.
The thing is that it changes all the time. So the images, that were broken at one time are fine after a f5 page refresh.
And the next time it’s some other fotos. Different all the time…
So I can’t really post any links to the images, that are broken, because it changes all the time …
I have reproduced the problem on a pc on a separate network (IE and chrome) and on a Nexus 5 phone, so it definitely does not have anything to do with my pc at home.
As I said, it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the image sizes, which are – admittedly – a bit heavy. The smaller images fail just as often as the large ones.
Thanks for the answer.
That’s really strange…Here’s how it looks on my end: http://bit.ly/1qEmMIM (three images missing). Very consistently there are 2-4 images missing every time it reloads
The problem may be specific for this computer. I checked on my iPad, and the images are ok there. I’ll check some different computers tomorrow.
I’m having exactly the same problem.
It would be nice to know if this is working out for you (creating an admin user low on permissions with a secure password)

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Many problems with Woocommerce Customer InvoiceThank you very much for that. Your suggestion certainly sorts out #1 🙂
Personally I don’t quite have the coding skills to make the template dynamically show the amount excl. VAT and the VAT rate (#3), but thanks for the tip.
#2 – I am considering buying that plugin.
Sum up: I am still a bit disappointed that Woocommerce doesn’t have these basic – and legally important – options out of the box.

A totally different way of sorting out some of the issues would be to install the “Print Invoices & Delivery Notes”-plugin and manually input an invoice number when completing an order. This does not – of course – result in a mail, but a paper invoice.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Many problems with Woocommerce Customer InvoiceRegarding the lack of information in the “Customer Invoice”-option in Woocommerce – I found this old post:
I’m having trouble believing that Woocommerce has no real way of dealing with legally sufficient invoices. I am on Woocommerce version 2.0.10. Shouldn’t this have been fixed by now?
