Thank you for the five stars @cmjklein!
Hi @iamlegh,
It seems like you have restricted the REST API to only allow authenticated users.
This is the message I get when visiting the tracking endpoint:
{- “code”: “rest_api_authentication_required”,
- “message”: “The REST API has been restricted to authenticated users.”,
- “data”: {
- “status”: 401
}
I think you have some setting turned on in WordFence (or another plugin that blocks the usage of the REST API for unauthenticated users.Kind regards,
Hessel
Thanks a lot for the review! I am happy to have helped!
Thank you @retroarthotel for the review!
Bedankt @ontwerperij voor de rrrreview! 🙂
Thanks a lot for the feedback and the five stars @zagrosalborzian!
Hi @mindkicks,
Sorry for not explaining properly. In Step 3: Recipients, there should be an input field containing the email adress and you should be able to change the email.
If that does not help, please let me know. The screenshots were very helpfull!
Kind regards,
HesselHi @mindkicks,
You should be able to edit the email inside the report. You can find this in Burst > Reporting. There should be an active email/classic report you can edit.
Hope this helps!
Kind regards,
HesselHi @kcarruthers! Happy to hear you’re finding Burst helpful! Thanks for the review!
Hi @2026abc,
I was about to type something about a possible adbocker and then I saw your edit. Happy to hear the issue has been resolved!
Kind regards,
HesselI finally got a reply from AdGuard. It is quite a generic response:
“Hi,You’ve reached AdGuard!
Thank you for reporting this.
To ensure the issue is properly reviewed, please submit it directly to our filter developers here: https://reports.adguard.com/en/new_issue.html, so they can implement a global fix.
Let us know if there’s anything else you need 🙏️”But I have submitted the issue, so I hope it will be fixed soon! If it is fixed, I’ll update this thread!
@slavomir12 @rogierlankhorst I’ve just sent an email to AdGuard asking if they can be more specific with what they block. Not sure if I’ll get a response, but I’ll update this thread if I do get one!
Hi @lekkerbezig,
Are you using any user side caching?
Groet,
HesselThank you for the five stars @stichtingbonartz!
Hi @peq42,
I understand your point of view. If you’re expecting all the data GA provides, Burst might indeed feel too simple for you.
We try to provide a free tool that “is enough” for 90% of WordPress websites. And most importantly is not too overwhelming and bloated. We have to decide based on user feedback what features make it into the plugin. Your feedback helps decide if we still have the right balance. You don’t have to agree with our approach, but I hope this explains the reasoning behind it.
All the best,
Hessel
