now it’s working…any reason why it would say “cannot find server” for 20-30 minutes, then come back oin fine?

it’s not mysite.com/blog, that was just an example.
It is http://www.my-beadwork-guide.com/blog

Yes, the database is aaronhil_wpblog, and yes I am installing via FTP.
