Just had to edit another setting in the cpanel to make the subdomain point to /wesley subdirectory silly me

I have created the subdomain http://wesley.andrewmaccabe.com and have installed a seperate wordpress site into the directory ‘root/wesley’
but when I go to http://wesley.andrewmaccabe.com it just displays the http://andrewmaccabe.com site?!?!
Even though I have installed a completely new wordpress site to the subdomain… I have tried completely uninstalling the site and using cpanel to create the subdomain and install wordpress but when I choose to install wordpress to the subdomain it just installs it to the root folder overwriting andrewmaccabe.com
I am very confused
