hi,
I’m having the same issue. I am not a coder, so I was wondering if someone could break this down to make the instructions above a little more user-friendly.
where do I go to find this section of CSS code….? I looked through just about everything but can’t find custom CSS or anything re the iframe settings….

In reply to: [LuKoo] header in Lukooditto re pages for the cafiko theme.. defaulted back to lukoo for now, even without the header…
using firefox browser…
why is this so complicated… if it were browser or server.. why do widgets and pages carry over from orig to lukoo without any problem?
thanks noah…:)

In reply to: [LuKoo] header in Lukoookay- creepy factor. activated cafiko(?) theme.. which had no widgets.. but on the dashboard page, go to widgets.. sidebar lists them ALL.. it shows ALL the widgets, in order etc… soo..
where are the widgets….?
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [LuKoo] header in Lukoobtw- do I assume that the widgets ARE on the dashboard.. that there is a “crossover” and that i do not need to build NEW widgets with each new theme? the old ones exist and I would just need to rebuild the side-bar…. if its just rebuilding the sidebar.. i could suck that up… if its rebuilding the widgets… my brain might do something ugly:)
thanks a lot
appreciated. truly

In reply to: [LuKoo] header in Lukooyea- that is one I have installed as a “possible”… b ut when i do a live preview and see no widgets.. my brain just said ouch.. this is going to be work and hurt figuring it out.. right now my brain i ssooo saturated, trying to figure this out, without making any real progress.. that it is now in.. KIS…. mode… which is not necesarrily where I like it to be.. but have hit the frustration factor multiple times, spent more time that should have been needed on things like.. why can’t-wont the banner show full sized in lukoo… kind of things.. that i’d at least like to lose a minimum of what is already set up:)
thanks..

In reply to: [LuKoo] header in Lukooi think suffusion needed more savvy than I might have at this point. seemed like it needed someone to kind of set it up, before I’d be ready to make it do anything… i def got overwhelmed by it. I installed it in a test folder thinking I would play with it and figure it out…
re the lukoo- if it ” works for me for now” while I figure something out– since prior, was using paramitopa, and somehow thinking that isn’t updated or supported either, yesno?– maybe for what I want… support isn’t as critical right now…
and yea- it def sucks when you go.. nice look.. i’m screwed:)
am also testing home-page rather than blog as landing page.. but yea.. http://beingherd.com if you know a theme that will allow a similar colour look feel. I really LIKED the suffusion engine and what people had been able to do with it.. but it’s not something you get up and running quickly. not plug n play, point n click.. so much:)
all i orig wanted, was to get the sidebar OFF the buy the book page ( and the buy chaga page) as sidebars take up real estate and distract from that nice shiny BUY button:) couldnt figure out how to do it noway nohow.. and the one explanation i did find.. seemed waayyyy over complicated, needing to FTP the site onto computer and insert code etc…
I can insert some simple code/ scripts, if I know where they need to go– but this was beyond what i wanted to wrestle with:)
thanks again
Teri

In reply to: [LuKoo] header in Lukoohi there,
Are there any themes that are similar in look-feel to this, that you might recommend, that are user-friendly to the non-coder? i saw some sites done with suffusion that were really nice.. but in looking at it, knew it was beyond my abilities:)
really bummed- because i did like the way the preview, live-test looked…
thanks
