Wc Lovers I have, and after a 4 day wait I got a response, to which I replied and now 10 days later I’m still waiting for a response.
@thrivingceo thats good to hear, maybe they have just gotten too popular recently. I find the forum support is either non existent or says something like ‘its another plugin clear your cache’. Your right there are a lot of people trying to make it fit their needs, but there are also a lot of genuine problems, which seem to get ignored.
Can I ask where you are getting great responses to issues or troubleshooting? Becaue their forums are just full of unanswered problems.

Thanks, I just double-checked and although there are a lot of template overrides (using Flatsome theme) there isn’t a woocommerce/emails folder, I’ve even checked via FTP in case the override section in Admin wasn’t picking them up.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] ‘Request a shipping quote’ shipping method for overseas ordersI had a similar need and we ended up installing the Catman studios quote shipping with shipping filter. It does what you want, we put rest of world into a shipping zone and then set the payment method as exclusive. Its a bit hacky but it worked.
However it hasnt been updated for a while, the version on our website has a higher version number than the ‘latest’ on their site, and support was woeful, we have a big issue with ssl which they just didnt seem interested in fixing, which was frustrating for a commercial plugin.
However after some tweaking it is still working fine on our site, but I am not convinced its a long term option due to the lack of updates etc.
There is a definitely a gap for this type of plugin!! If you found an alternative then I would like to hear.

The site had been hacked, some very well hidden scripts etc. Did a full comparison with a vanilla install to find the problems in the end so didnt run a scan.
Just a thought, might be nice if there is a way to trigger the scan from outside of WP. So if you cant login or access the admin or site, the scan can still be triggered to at least possibly fix core files and get access back. Just a feature suggestion 🙂

In reply to: WP in sub directory calling index.php in rootThere was some weird stuff going on in the htaccess file. A previous employee had put in some stuff I still dont understand!
To make it work with the old wp, they must have also hacked the core files, which is just beyond me! Anyway I put in a sensible htaccess and it worked fine.

In reply to: WP in sub directory calling index.php in rootOur old version of WP is still running in a sub directory /en/ I left that there whilst I created the new site so it running in a sub folder doesnt matter.
I will check the htaccess file, and post back!
