I’ve tested this via desktop Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Opera after the upgrade to Jetpack 12.9 and users are now able to subscribe. Thanks!

We also have this problem, and it seems to have been going on for a while
Users who signed up via the widget in the past no longer seem to be receiving email notifications of new posts
New users are also unable to subscribe via the jetpack subscribe widget. They enter their email address, hit ‘subscribe’ and that’s it – no welcome/confirmation email (not even in spam), so they can’t respond, so they never become a subscriber
We have run the Jetpack debugging tool but everything is fine.
+ Tested site email working using Check and Log Email plugin. All ok
+ Tested jetpack contact form and it generates an email to the administrator ok
+ Checked our domain is not blacklisted for email. No problem.Site: https://alifeinbooks.co.uk
