Thanks for raising this point and it is something I didn’t include in the readme (an oversight on my part), my apologies.
For now it is English only, unfortunately that’s the only language I can read and I will need to be able to ensure I know what the posts say.
If anyone wanted to contribute time in the future to curate other languages I would very much want them to do that.

No that is not normal. When you register your blog is should give a feedback message (just under the button itself) saying either your blog was registered or if we have a record already that a duplicate exists.
