Hello Joy! Thank you for your answer and it is correct what you have mentioned but it is not a solution for this situation. There are no pages existing in Trash.
In my situation, I wanted to update an existing page so:
– I opened the already existing page,
– made the update of the text and
– saved the page.
After saving, wordpress has renamed the url with “-3”.
What could be the cause?
