How often do I need to do the optimization?

With 3) there only seems to be “gravatar” for uploading avatars in WP, so not as useful as phpbb.
And I’ll have to have some text somewhere telling members that there are two profiles, one for forum info and one for general info?

Two things:
1) You want people to register via phpbb (there is an option to force all registrations and lost passwords to phpbb). Correct?
But you want to disable change email addresses on the phpbb side? Correct.
This seems inconsistent, and confusing to users. Or am I misunderstanding? Ideally users would only edit profile etc. on the phpbb side.2) When I try “Transfer WordPress Users to phpBB forum” I was expecting only those “in WP but not in phpbb” to be added. But it seems to “overwrite” all:
“Overwritten existent user -> username (email and password and/or registration date)”
Is that correct? Is there any danger in transferring evryone?Forum: Plugins

thanks! I am trying out 2.4.0 again. It looks like a case of “…in some case where usernames/email pairs mismatching between wp and phpbb…” One user (and luckily it was one of my test accounts!) had different emails in wp and phpbb, and the email in wp was associated with another one of my accounts. I don’t know how that could have happened(?)
I am now going through all the mismatches, duplicates, etc. Also people registered in wp but do not appear in phpbb. There seem to be a lot of these!
Do you have any advice what I should/can do with all of these?! I don’t want to delete members, I just don’t want them to experience any problems.

I just want the form to look ok on an iPhone. So I’ve written at the top of the form “If you are using an iPhone to complete this form you might want to rotate it through 90 degrees!”
