You could also fix the bug. That won’t help 2L1A, but it may help someone else.

In reply to: [Dynamic Widgets] Last update seems brokenThanks – I’m trying to get my client (my brother!) to get his hosting upgraded to PHP 5.4, but am reliant on the folks at Church of Ireland Hosting Services to action that. In the meantime I managed to deactivate the plugin via ssh and get 1.5.4 reinstalled for now.

In reply to: [Dynamic Widgets] Last update seems brokenI understand the reasoning, and can sympathise from my own experience with the pain of supporting your code on outdated platforms.
But I can’t help thinking that simply breaking people’s sites (admin and content) rather than, say, giving a warning message and deactivating the plugin, feels a bit user-unfriendly.
