@fesupportteam can you please suggest anything that just corrects the counter because right now it is too confusing for the customers of the website, or it shows the correct count of products when filtered?
Best regards,
AbhishekHello Victor,
Thank you for your response.
Just to clarify, we are not using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). The filters in question are built using WordPress native custom fields (post meta).
We are still experiencing the issue where:
- The filter count shows a higher number (e.g., 34 for 12′ Floor Length),
- But only a limited number of products (e.g., 10) are displayed,
- And pagination is not appearing for this specific filter.
Other filters are working correctly, which makes this behavior specific to certain custom field values.
Could you please guide us on:
- How Filter Everything handles native custom fields (post meta) in terms of indexing and querying?
- Whether inconsistent values (e.g.,
12,12',12 ft) could cause this mismatch even without ACF? - Is there a way to rebuild or reindex filter data for native custom fields?
- Are there any recommended formats or best practices when using custom fields for filtering?
If needed, we can provide sample product data or access to help diagnose the issue further.
Looking forward to your guidance.
Best regards,
Abhishek
