Well that’s disappointing about the standard theme. Its the only one I really liked. The recapatca problem occurs when I select a different recapatca theme than the default it does not seem to apply, it continues to be the red default theme.
I have reverted to the previous version to correct the problem. It seems something with the new layout is messing with my theme. Just for your reference, my theme is the Simple Church Theme.

I have discovered that if I set the latest posts page to the media page then the posts will show up but, I don’t see a way to have two latest posts pages, one for events and one for media.

Yes and if you can get to one of the posts it displays that post correctly but, it doesn’t display the pages that list all of the posts correctly.
