We actually just managed to fix the problem. We originally added and formatted the grid inside a new Section in a Row Layout (Kadence theme and blocks). We tried placing the grid outside of the row layout (without any container) entirely and it showed the correct colors on the live page. So we then put it back in the section in the row layout and it stayed with the correct colors.

FYI after we fixed it, we duplicated the Row Layout that contains it, and the new duplicated grid didn’t retain the fix and showed up with the wrong colors again.
