sure, it seems the problem was as follow:
My wp was setup as http://www.example.com/blog. and I changed the installation so that wp would run from http://www.example.com. I had to change because i installed wp in english and I needed it in spanish. All I needed to do to fix this was to change the address on the setup of the site to http://www.example.com. After that I deleted the original install http://www.example.com/blog and know it works. Thanks rajeshsoni for your interest.
I fixed it, I just needed to change where to put wp within the settings.
