I think I can. I just got SSH turned on at my hosting company, so I’ll do that. Thanks for the advice jd.

Thanks both of you. Google and Norton both released the “dangerous” ratings so for now we look ok. If you Google our domain name, some of the fake redirects still show up as sub-pages under our main domain, but I suppose it just takes time for the crawlers to update.

    Maybe this helps:

My first indication that we’d been hacked was when I accidentally typed our url in my browser’s search area instead of in the address bar. The Google results showed our site with sub-pages that I didn’t recognize (and that Norton on my PC indicated were not safe).

These sub-pages referenced stuff like world+cup or true+blood+season+3…nothing at all to do with our site.

Just trying to figure out whether the log with these GET thingies mean that those fake redirects are still alive and well.

    Thanks again!!!!

Thanks for the reply but I’m not sure it answers my question (or maybe I didn’t ask it well). Those references to “true blood season 3” and “college world series” have nothing to do with our site.

Those are the fake redirects that the hackers embedded in php within our site.

My question is whether the GET statements indicate that we have yet to remove all of the malicious code…or is it just residual “bot work” that will take time to go away.
