I like UAM also and I won’t replace it.
But perhaps there’s a solution. I’ve tried this and it seems to work: I’ve deactivated UAM, inserted the FT calendar shortcode, then I’ve reactivated UAM.
Can you confirm that?

It could be a conflict with User Access Manager actually.
