After some more tests I can tell you that:
- the same happens with another theme, Pulitzer, as soon as I activate some fonts with Yabe Webfonts. So I suppose the problem can’t be the theme, also because the file […]app/public/wp-includes/class-wp-theme-json.php is outside the theme’s folder
- Same problem with variable and not variable fonts
But I can tell you that while I was googling for info I’ve bumped into a problem reported by a Bricks’ user on their forum that, don’t know why, kind of made me think of the problem I have with Yabe. Never tried Bricks and I’m not a developer so the two things can be totally a different thing but this is the link, just in case: https://forum.bricksbuilder.io/t/solved-adobe-fonts-not-loading-in-specific-instances-due-to-incorrect-assumptions-in-bricks-code/26598
@suabahasa I’ve just tried WordPress Studio too trying to see if the problem could be LocalWP, but the warnings are still there:
- Downloaded and installed Studio for Mac
- Installed LeanCv theme and disactivated all the webfonts available and active in that theme (no warnings of sort)
- downloaded and installed Yabe Webfonts: still no warnings
- activated some Adobe webfonts using a project ID: warnings appear
Since the warnings are already there, I haven’t uploaded any custom font in this case.
Sure thing. And thanks a lot:
- Install LeanCV theme and activate it
- Install Yabe Webfonts and activate it
- Deactivate all fonts available in LeanCV theme using the FSE style feature (there are a lot of Webfonts active in that theme, really too many)
- Activate some Adobe webfonts and upload a custom font too in Yabe
That should get you to the warnings I wrote about. If I disable Yabe plugin the warnings disappear, and they are back as soon as I activate it again.
Sincerely speaking that surprised me a lot since I’ve used Yabe Webfonts in so many personal websites with no problems at all and I was going to buy a perpetual agency license in fact.
I also thought it could be because of something strange in my local development environment, but I’m using LocalWP as usual.

In reply to: [Chaplin] Blurred images when not used as featured imagesI made a screenshot of a sample page on localhost.
WeTransfer: https://we.tl/t-Z5Ns4YBBfP
If you look at the screenshot at 100% (1374 x 3326 px), you see the first image is perfectly sharp while the second one is a little bit blurred.
It’s the same image from the media library.
The first is the featured image for that page, the second image is used to show the problem. I don’t know why this happens.
And it happens with every image: perfectly sharp when used as featured images, a little bit blurred when used into the page. It’s true for “flat images” β like the one used in the sample page β and for detailed images/pictures.
Is there anyone else experiencing the same problem?

In reply to: [Chaplin] Using fonts from FontstandSolved.
I’ve just found that with no Body & Headings font selected, there’s no output of any code for Google web fonts loading. So I opted to use CSS and not this feature to set my fonts from Fontstand.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Chaplin] Using fonts from FontstandI’ve partially found a way:
1) I’ve added a LINK tag into header.php (child theme folder) to download the fonts I need from Fontstand
2) I’ve used Appearance β Customize β Fonts to customize body & headers fonts. I haven’s tried it yet, but I suppose I can customize fonts for other tags β blockquote, mainly β just adding some code to mu child theme CSS style.
3) the only thing I still need to find a solution for is to avoid the download of Google web fonts. Non existent ones, in fact. Since the theme is now using font names set in Appearance β Customize β Fonts, but those names are those of Fontstand’s web fonts, not of Google web fonts π
Anyway, this theme is just great!
Have I already told you? πBest,
m
