  • Hi Frank,
    I have a similar issue…
I have removed all the tick selections from the Adminimize Menu options.
But not all of the menu sections are showing. Even the Plugins section is not showing, I therefore cannot uninstall Adminimize, even if I wanted to.
I can see the WP Updates screen, so I can update the Adminimize plugin from 1.10.2 to 1.10.4. Would you advise I try that next Frank?
    My WP Version is: 4.1
    Thanks,
    Phil

Was having the exact same issue. Have today updated app to….
    Version 1.5.11
    Problem resolved.
Peter must have added a fix to that latest version.
Try it guys, hope that helps.

Hope this is helpful to anybody thinking of using this app –

I have it set up on my client’s site as follows….

All Admin settings (which includes the client and myself) are set to Deactivate/Hide just about everything, except the Settings tab (which also has the Adminimize app settings in it).

Whenever I need to make a change on the site, all I do is click on Adminimize in settings, and then all the other settings become momentarily available to me. of course, each time I want to do something I have to keep clicking on Adminimize, but if the sites been mostly all set up, then only tinkering is required from then on.

The client could do the same, but clients tend not to wonder too far and they wont know what Adminimize does in amongst all the other settings.

It’s not until you click on the Adminimize settings that everything becomes available again. Try it on a test site and see for yourself.

    Thanks Frank.

    Quick question/suggestion….
How about password protecting the Adminimize settings panel? That should do it.

I too have the same requirement. Can Adminimize do this for one specific User?
    Thanks

Works fine at the front end of my client’s new site, but it keeps writing to (and cluttering up) my debug.log with this…

PHP Notice: wp_register_script was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or login_enqueue_scripts hooks. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in /wp-includes/functions.php on line 3245

Any idea what’s causing it to endlessly write this stuff every 3 minutes? It stops when I deactivate your plugin.
I need my log clear (at present at least), while I test a new site.
It’s a shame – a nice looking plugin that otherwise works fine at the front 🙂
    Thanks.
