Could I receive an answer please? I posted over 4 days ago. Thank you.
Hello,
I have entered the css as you recommend to the Theme’s CSS box as listed below, but it does not change any element.
When I use Firebug, I see the ID listed for the correct html item and if I make changes to the css in Firebug, they do change the page as expected. However, that of course is just temporary change, but it does confirm that the ID I am using is correct.
Can you advise why making changes to the theme CSS box does not have any effect on your plugin? Are you storing CSS for your plugin elsewhere, which take precedent? I looked at all the css files in the plugins/tabs-responsive folder and found nothing with the intended ID listed.
Let me know if you need access to the site to take a more thorough look.
Thanks for your help.Earl

In reply to: [Image Caption Hover] not touch responsiveRameez,
Thanks for your help. I have moved the plugin test to the same image of guys watching TV in the top row, left column, far away from the footer. That seems to make it work marginally better on my android phone and tablet.
However, now a short single click does not get a response on phone, but does on tablet– it shows the hover, then proceeds immediately to navigate to link. And if on the phone I hold the click longer for a couple seconds (which no visitor will know to do), I can often get the hover to appear on phone– though not always. Often, holding the click longer just navigates me to the link. Also, after getting no response, I try again and it navigates to the link… that’s even after waiting 5-10 seconds after the first non-responding click.
Of course I don’t know how your plugin is constructed, but it seems like a touch sensitivity issue. Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity?
Again, I would appreciate your help. Thank you.
Earl
Happy to share url… http://03f999e.netsolhost.com/devsite/tv
But I’m just looking for class that controls the tab text. That would be the same on every site, so not sure why you need to see the site. Can you just tell me if the tab content has been assigned a class, or is it all IDs only? If the latter, can you tell me the name of the file(s) and what line(s) of code I would go to, to convert IDs to Classes? Thank you.

In reply to: [Image Caption Hover] not touch responsiveRameez,
Okay… some more info. I have previously tested on android and apple ios phones get no results from multiple attempts. However, I just tested it on an android tablet and about 1 our of 10 attempts works to get hover effect and navigation.
Thought this may help narrow things down a little.

In reply to: [Image Caption Hover] not touch responsiveRameez,
Sorry, but I just realized that you were probably asking where you’d find my usage of your plugin. It is on the page I have provided, but I have only been testing your plugin on one specific image. Please scroll to the very bottom of that page where you’ll see an image of men watching TV (same image appears at top of page, but ignore that). Only the image just above the footer uses your plugin. Sorry for not being clear about that.

In reply to: [Image Caption Hover] not touch responsiveUpdate. I deactivated the VC version of your plugin and then installed your regular Image Caption Hover Effects plugin, which provided a settings menu with touch screen set up. I selected the 1st tap hover, 2nd tap navigate option and saved it. I placed the shortcode in a Visual Composer text box. Things look great on desktop, but there is no hover and no navigate working on touch screen.
Can you please help. Thank you.
Clarification. I do not think this is an audio issue. I thought it was at first, but it is clear now that the slider starts playing in the background (popup not triggered yet) on page load and the audio was just evident because it could be heard from the background. Please help!
I have posted 3 days ago and have not received a reply, nor a follow up from @danieliser as promised. Please respond now as I have no more time to wait. Thank you.
Will he need access to the site to work on audio? Let me know what I should provide.
Also, there is an issue you have not addressed in your response. It’s not just that the audio is playing before the popup is triggered… it’s that the slider has started playing before the popup is triggered, although it is not visible before the trigger. As I said earlier, I know this to be true because the not only can you hear the audio start in the background, but when I do click to trigger the popup, the slider has already advanced through several animations and is synced with the audio. That’s why we hear the audio. It starts playing because the slider started playing on page load, not on trigger.
Again, thanks for your help.
my button code is this…
<a class="popmake-2219"><img data-stellar-ratio="1.1" id="bird-btn" class="hover" src="http://mosquitoes.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/bird-house-transparant.png" /></a>- This reply was modified 9 years, 8 months ago by imagimedia.
Here’s something that may have a bearing on all of this…
I am triggering your popup as a class on my buttons.
I’ve noticed that I can eliminate all triggers on the Popup Edit page (no click open nor auto open) and the popup will still open when I click the button. Is this a clue?

Yikes, I thought I had added this but don’t see it; sorry if I am repeating post.
I just clicked on another page on my site and the audio from the rev slider in the popup started playing (without clicking to trigger it). I checked further to see that this happens on every single page– even though the popup with the slider is not on any of those other pages.
Please help!
Okay, sorry to keep adding comments, but as the slider is showing at postage stamp size I did not realize until just now that the slider is starting to play (and audio too when set to autoplay) when the page is loaded– even though the popup with the rev slider in it has not been triggered yet.
Here’s what happened… I set the audio autoplay to “on”. I loaded the page that has the popup. Immediately I hear the narration though I have not yet clicked the button to trigger the popup. I wait until the narration is about half way through and then I open the popup that contains the slider. Though the lightbox theme of the popup is the correct size, the slider within it is very small (per earlier support ticket). I can notice however, that the slider is also halfway through the visuals– the same as the audio. So it is clear that the slider (including the autoplay audio) has begun playing inside the popup before the popup was opened.
I imagine this added information may suggest a different diagnoses. I look forward to your detective work on this. Thanks!
