My apologies for delayed response. It turned out there was /backups entry in .gitignore file of our project which was causing the issue as this plugin also has a folder with the same name.

Hi @sonill Apologies for the delayed response as I got busy. I will leave a detailed proposal this week.
The way it is not available, it looks like it was intentionally done to make this hook useless?
