In reply to: [Brilliant Web-to-Lead for Salesforce] Nothing happening on form submittalI had “Use WP CF7 CSS integration?” checked. Not sure if that’s what you mean. In any case, I deactivated CF7 and the SF plugin is now working. I’m not clear on what change would allow using both. Should I uncheck that box or check the one below it, “Remove WP CF7 Javascript on SFWP2L pages? (fixes CF7 hijacking form submits, may break CF7 forms on the same page)” or both?
Thanks.
I too am getting many duplicate backups. I’ve had the feature on for a year and it only started doing this last night. I didn’t change anything and haven’t even logged into this site’s backend in weeks.

I was looking where I could send you a donation, but don’t see how. I don’t need the features of pro version, but would like to send you a thank you for all your help.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [bbPress Messages] Show first name instead of usernameIf the problem was someplace other than the new code though, wouldn’t that be a problem even now? The site is fine until I add the new code.
Is there some way I can just directly edit the messaging plugin’s code to reference the user nicename instead of the user ID? I know I’d have to edit it again whenever I update the plugin, but that wouldn’t be all that often.
Thanks again for helping me sort this.

In reply to: [bbPress Messages] Show first name instead of usernameWith this one I get no error, but I get some of the code showing at the top of all site pages. I took a couple screenshots but can’t seem to upload them here. Let me know if you want me to try at the other url and see if in a PM I can send the screenshots, if that is helpful to you.

In reply to: [bbPress Messages] Show first name instead of usernameAnything other than the person’s email addresss (username) will be an improvement.
Yes, I did put it that very bottom of the functions.php file in my child theme. Nothing was after it.
Here is the pastebin: http://pastebin.com/8ywHHN2s (expires in 1 day)
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [bbPress Messages] Show first name instead of usernameI get the following error message when I paste this to the bottom of my functions.php file within my child theme:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘;’, expecting ‘(‘
This is set within PayPal itself. Hopefully you are only using that PayPal account for a single site, and can therefore have it direct where it needs to go.

In reply to: [Asgaros Forum] Adding new usersThank you. I have done this, but the login link on the forum thread still takes me to a login page, but provides no link for registering.
Where do people register?

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Refuses to scan image folderIt is called images, but I already optimized each image individually anyway, then reuploaded. But thanks for trying to help on this.

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Refuses to scan image folderYes. It absolutely skipped the active theme’s folder and its subfolders. When you see the list of images it optimized not one image in that folder is included, yet those are the largest images on the site and the ones resulting in a bad homepage load speed. I ran it first without specifying anything there and it showed nothing scanned at all.
At this point it is academic though, because I just went ahead and optimized that folder’s images one by one using a manual tool, then re-uploaded them. And all new images to the site will go into the media folder. Hopefully you can resolve for someone else’s benefit though. Might it be that the theme is named a unique word, instead of following the “twelve” “thirteen” convention of standard wp themes? I can’t see anything different about those folders. The permissions are exactly the same when I look at them with FTP software.
