There is new version of Stripe Gateway plugin (9.5) and change log has the following fix too
- Update – Add support for customer order notes and express checkout
I feel as you added support to “order notes and express checkout” then delivery date might work. I can’t test this in live site. But if you added support to “order notes and express checkout” then it could work.
Stripe plugin and WooCommerce core to their latest versions still have this issue. The last version which does wirk is Stripe Gateway version 9.1.1. Some changes made afterwards must have simething to do with this. It is your resposibility to see why this happens.
Why can’t you just add the features you had with WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin ver 9.1.1 and fix it? This is a serious issue as Woocommerce merchants we need to deliver products on certain dates. So a custom checkout field like delivery date is so important feature. It’s been months and still no solution. Really disappointed.

Can I use Apple Pay and Google Pay if I add extra fields to my checkout page?
Apple Pay and Google Pay are not compatible with extensions like Checkout Field Editor which may be used to add additional fields on the checkout page// This is from woocommerce documentation. Is this related to the current issue ? Why this happened after WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin ver 9.1.1 ? Please we need a solution. How do we capture a delivery date from checkout page with this issue? Do you have a any plugin suggestion to get the delivery date from checkout page?
It’s not a workaround. We can’t update WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin from 9.1.1 to a latest version. If we do then Apple/Google payments do NOT get delivery dates. We can’t keep old version forever. WooCommerce Delivery & Pickup Date Time Pro plugin by CodeRockz says that they didn’t get solution from Woo slsck community. We need to fix this issue ASAP.
I did rollback to 9.1.1 and will confirm within 2hrs.

Yes, I did rollback just 1 hr ago and waiting for Apple Pay. Google Pay orders to check the issue is fixed or not.

I have installed WP Video Posts plugin. And I have let any one to register for the site but as a Author (role).
In Settings–>WP Video Posts–>Front End Uploader —->Choose the categories to be available for a user from Front End Uploader (all categories are displayed by default if none is chosen)
under the above option I have selected 2 categories out of my five categories.
But when I logged in as author,I can choose Videos–>Add New Video–>
It still allows me to choose all the categories out of all 5.But after I published it, only shows allowed categories.
