This is happening due to the plugin enqueues select2 js from release candidate version on all over the admin pages. Since select2 is used only on the admin page, you simply don’t need to enqueue it throughout the admin area. Enqueue the select2 only on the admin page will fix the issue.
I hope you’ll release the update as soon as possible.
