We were having the same issue. But it is now solved.
1. Updated the plugin to the latest GTranslate version.
2. If you are running something like WProcket you need to put the following code
.goog-te-banner-frame
to the white list of unused CSS.
Hope this helps.- This reply was modified 3 years, 3 months ago by ingevdb.
Hello Michael, you are NOT seeing a noindex tag for the simple reason that I switched yoast off and desinstalled it. I will never touch it again. I did have before a Yoast SEO Premium account for another website, but it’s simply not worth it. You hardly ever come up with a solutions, without us, webdevelopers doing the hard work for you.
I switched over to https://rankmath.com/
I wish you and your company all the best in the future.
Hello Michael,
Thank you for your quick response.
I cloned the site.
I switched off all plugins exept yoast 17.4 https://snipboard.io/37Qphz.jpg
I switched the theme to 2020
The result is this: https://snipboard.io/Q1RHtI.jpgWhen I switched of yoast the noindex disapears.
I’m afraid it’s your plugin which somehow is causing the problem ….Any suggestions?
Kind Regards,
Inge
