and it really work
some hosting does not allow side-sever compresion because of cpu usage, so this option is really necessary

this seems to be useful for cpu usage, not for bandwith saving
dont know why compression code was removed from this version, may i should downgrade

in DirectAdmin i have no options for this side-server compresion
anyone knows if any wordpress plug-in does the same as gzipcompression option?
