I had the same problem today, and found out a way to solve it.
In the Post Edit go to Screen Options (top menu) and mark the Discussion and Comments boxes.
Then, go down the page and mark the “Allow Comments”.
From now on it will be automatically marked, and the Disqus will show. 🙂
