Thanks for the response!

I can think of the following:
1) System wide default (already there)
2) Author default paywall fee, manageable from author profile (newly suggested by yourself)
3) Post base fee, which it overrides everything that was previously configured.

Does this make sense? This override system makes it robust and more flexible.
