Thanks for reporting this and for the detailed review. The issue has now been resolved, the excessive whitespace has been removed from the affected file(s), and an updated version 1.1.6 of the plugin has been released with the fix applied. This update contains formatting-only changes and reduces unnecessary memory usage.
