We recently started facing HTTP ERROR 500 on many of our websites and after digging a lot with multiple plugins/themes/servers. We found this plugin the culprit of the issue. We deactivated the plugin on all websites and now all the websites are working smoothly.Though we do not need the plugin at the moment, I just wanted to report the issue to the owner so that they can fix it and other people do not face this issue.

I am facing the same issue and it is happening from last few updates of WPML. So culprit is WPML according to me.This is the error in error log:-
AH00124: Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use ‘LimitInternalRecursion’ to increase the limit if necessary. Use ‘LogLevel debug’ to get a backtrace.Everything on my website is updated be it plugins, themes etc..
How can we fix this?

My issue is now resolved. I reported the matter to WPML and they released update of the plugin that fixed the issue. So there was some problem in WPML only.Thanks for your reply.

I am facing the exact same error today on my website while trying to make new post and after reading your reply, I disabled all plugins and enabled them 1 by 1. I have found that it’s “WPML Multilingual CMS” plugin which is causing the issue.But I need that plugin to manage translations on my website. My website is hosted on Amazon Lightsail VPS so hosting is not an issue.
Can you tell me what should I do?
