In reply to: [Proxy Cache Purge] Purge cache every updateYou could do that, yes. It should work, but be warned that will be a heavy toll on your site speed, depending on how many posts you have and how often you publish. I recommend instead adding the specific pages that the plugin is missing.

In general, I recommend checking your headers in the subsequent section and if it looks right, then you’re probably fine. I tried to improve the checks this last release, but as I don’t have every possible setup on hand, it’s hard to make sure I catch every possible iteration.
The check was primarily crafted for people using Varnish on DreamPress, and has not been extensively tested elsewhere.

Look for themes that have FSE (Full Site Editing) support. It’s still an early release, so it’s rather quirky.

Since you know this is one of your plugins, it would be best to figure out which one and bring it to the attention of that developer. Generally when you know it’s a plugin, it means a plugin has an error/bad JS, which should be fixed since it’s probably slowing your site down as well!

In reply to: Open in New Tab ToggleIt’s a surprisingly (to me) controversial setting. The argument against is “people know how to alt-click!” and the argument for is “it makes sure they don’t lose their place!” Or for me at least “open in new tab on my iphone sucks.”
If you want it globally, I’m sure there are some plugins that use javascript on each page and force it. I know I saw one the other day for all external links.

In reply to: multisite edit managerMost of the translation plugins to do that are premium (they may have some free features but generally you gotta pay). This is because, as you may have noticed, this is hard to do!
LocoTranslate probably won’t help since they expressly don’t do posts – https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/faqs/translating-posts
So really it’s either find a plugin/3rd party you can live with/afford, or manually copy all the pages per language to multiple sites on a network, which sounds incredibly tedious..
I am desperate to REMOVE attachments from search results;
I’ve never seen media show up in search. Are these regular media files uploaded though the default client, or something else?
