I use a plugin to change code, but I guess you don’t need me to now as it is fixed with the update. Now other users can’t see someone else’s profile via the @mentions.

I can confirm it goes away when the user posts a topic and it returns the next time the user logs in.
Yes Buddypress is active too as I needed it specifically for the @mentions function.
