The new sitemaps are up and running! The documentation should tell new users to deactivate the WP sitemaps generator (or, if it does so, do so more prominently – I don’t see it).
BUT — there is no Google News sitemap. Does this plugin generate it? I dont’ see anything about this in the FAQ. There is a thread in a support forum by other users who have this problem.

“General HTTP error: 404 not found”
I tried WP again. They suggested turning off the WP sitemaps generator. Looking at Google Search Console, I now see the new sitemaps. I check tomorrow to see if my posts are now getting indexed.
Google now does not even show an active regular sitemap for my website. The News sitemap submitted by WP does show and is active.
I’ll have to deactivate this if I don’t get a solution soon.
It shows as active on my PlugIn page. I see nothing in the FAQ that helps. I reset the settings back to initial.

WP.com staff confirmed that this feature disappears when using plug-ins. I don’t know if they meant in general, of AdInserter specifically.
I look forward to seeing the results. Last month — before using AdInserter — I made $40 from Amazon Associates and only $27 from WordAds. And that’s with WordAds annoying autoplay videos, which make my website more difficult to read.
My guess is that this is largely because I can make the Amazon ads specifically relevant to the website’s content, and even that of individual posts.

When I am creating a post, I insert an image. Then I click on it to edit it — bringing up the Image Details page. Before installing Ad Inserter, there were boxes to input margins around the image: top, bottom, left, right. They no longer appear on the Details page.
