Jeff, my site is also on GoDaddy WordPress hosting with an SSL.
Jeremy, do you know if anyone has been able get the problem fixed?Hi Jeremy. I sent that debugger contact form. Let me know if it’s helpful. Thank you!
Hi Jeremy. Thanks for your response. I’m a little confused. Is there a place in jetpack settings where I can set it to use HTTPS instead of HTTP? Sorry if I’m missing something here. I’ve still gotten the 429 error since your last post but I’m assuming that’s because I need to change something on my end. Let me know. Thanks!
Not sure how helpful the site URL will be but here it is: https://utahcharters.org/
I’m pretty sure that the issue is just that my site is https and publicize is posting http links (I tested the links with the facebook debugger and the http links that publicize posts give the 429 error whereas if I change the link to https in debugger the error is gone). Thanks for your help! Thanks so much for your response! That’s really too bad, because not allowing people to choose a frequency (or even just some way to ensure people aren’t getting more than one email in a day) makes the subscribe feature a lot less useable. Is there anywhere for people to request new features for the jetpack plugin (sorry if I should already know that)? Even a checkbox on the plugin end that allows the site owner to make sure they aren’t bombarding people with email would be extremely helpful in my opinion. Thanks again!
