Hello. I’ve opened a support ticket and linked to this thread.
Ajay, you wrote: “the Jetpack plugin connects your site to your WordPress.com account to provide you complete functionalities that it offers.” It does NOT. Your link (same as given to me before), simply goes to a page informing me I do not have any sites yet, with nowhere else to go except to create a site (which I don’t want). This is so frustrating.
Thanks for your reply, Mehdi. But it doesn’t help.
Your link goes to my WP.com account and my issue is with my blog hosted on WP.org. I am still not seeing the full list of email subscribers that Jetpack says I have when I go to Jetpack > Stats > Subscribers on my WP dashboard.- This reply was modified 2 years, 5 months ago by iska88.
Hello Bruce,
With the last upgrade to Jetpack, I was able to get to SOME of my subscriber list at Jetpack>Stats>Subscribers. It reports I have 36 email subscribers and 1 WP subscriber, but under the email tab it show 10 email addresses only and under the WP tab another 10 email addresses.
My blog is at https://myheroinesjourney.blog
Any ideas what’s going on?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack update gone to errorPS. My issue has been resolved. I deleted jetpack folder in hosting and reinstalled. Thanks to @bobmatyas for the directions.
Thank you, @bobmatyas – indeed that did the trick. I found the file, deleted it, reinstalled Jetpack, and voila, all the stats, subscribers, and form were back. Relief here.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack update gone to error@bobmatyas – in my case, the entire Jetpack plugin disappeared from my WP dashboard.
I lost all stats, including list of email followers, as well as the form for signing up on my site (https://myheroinesjourney.blog).
When I try to reinstall the plugin, I get error message: Installation failed: Destination folder already exists. I don’t know how to find that folder, and I’m hoping my data is still in there in the background somewhere.
What do I do now?
@drawmyface Dan(a11n) – can you please tell me how to get Jetpack back? It’s not listed as an installed plugin and when I try to reinstall I get error message: Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.
I’m hoping my list of email followers is still stored somewhere in the background… :'(
@trbhicks – I lost the form for people to sign up to get email notifications and my list of followers, none of whom received my last post.
PS. Looks like I lost all my email followers, too. Not a happy camper here.
Hello…
Not a false alarm…
When I went to update the Jetpack plugin, the app disappeared from my dashboard entirely, yet I can’t reinstall it because “Destination folder already exists”.
What do I do now?
