Thank you for your suggestion. I’ve disabled Grammarly (a spell and grammar checker) in Chrome extensions and the red line has now disappeared.

Hello Nick,
Thank you for reminding me. I did manage to track down and disable the code. It was a Google Analytics module in Rank Math that generated the code. Disabling the module removed it. Many thanks again. Mark

In reply to: Hard coded gtagThank you for your response. The gtag code was probably inserted several years ago in another WordPress theme. It was probably added with a WordPress plugin or in the Customise section. I do use ‘code snippets’ and ‘WP code lite’ plugins, but I cannot see the script in these plugins.
