You’re right. I was so confused about the error that I didn’t notice the iTunes subscription URL. I just checked and tested and it works fine. How stupid of me. Thanks for your help though. 🙂

I agree, theme looks great in demo but once you install it, you have to fill in a lot of details. Still it’s free and gives a premium theme look so I can happily do some customizations myself.
I added ‘more’ link in posts to overcome excerpt problem. Hope it helps someone.
