As mentioned in the second reply, I have deactivated, removed, and then reinstalled the plugin already without any success. At that time, caching plugin was deactivated as well.
I first reached out via email but did not hear back. Then I found this support channel and that a some others were having the same issue, that’s why I try to get help here in case someone else is facing the same issue.
I have no server side caching other than cloudflare.

The thing is, the website is in development mode. There is only one post in the database and no outside traffic. I have already set the settings to “Refresh while loading” and Cache to 12 hours. So I wonder how and why it seems that I’m generating more than 200 calls per hour.

Just as a thought: As you are prepping for v4 it would be wise to get rid of old bugs otherwise you are just carrying those over.

So is this something the Author could confirm as well? Does it get fixed in the next update?
No this is issue with Standard Comments widget from wordpress. I had to switch to decent comments and deactivate author link in order to get it working.
So something that is linking the author from UM to recent comments widget is broken.Forum: Plugins

Alright, I just deactivated the plugin until it is really compatible with UM.

Nope, it displays the correct avatar but the name and link to author stays the same.
The issue still exists. I had to install Decent Comments until this gets fixed.
I deactivated the plugin and it works.
Here are my steps to reproduce:1. Activte plugin
2. Write comment on a post as guest (don’t sign up, just write comment)
3. Approve comment
4. Reload post, the comment will be shown and in the recent comments widget, it is looking correct. the name of the guest will be shown as last comment.
5. Login as a registered member and reply to that post
6. The widget now changed the name of the unregisterd guest with the name of the registered user who last commented.Now if you comment again as the guest, it will revert to normal again unless you answer or reply as registered member.
I deactivated all plugins and changed theme but it won’t work.

I wished I could avoid those mentioned steps since it might be a bit complicate for the following cases:
– One person hast to fill different jobs for different companies under one account
– I want to publish some jobs for my customers but want to move the listing to their account later
– In companies, the HR persons are sometimes different but they need to be all associated with one companyRight now this is giving me a hard time to get my customers on board. The jobs should be related to the person publishing the job but to the company.
Maybe I’m misunderstanding something here and hopefully you can enlighten me.Cheers
