I’m curious about this too. It isn’t working for me either, but I’d love to use this feature.
Did you navigate to your Dashboard > Posts > All posts > Click on the name of the post you want to edit > on the right bottom you’ll see ‘featured image’ ; did you upload any image there? 🙂
