    Hey I’m so sorry for not responding, I was able to find another way to transfer the site so I put this on pause.
    That said, the backups still aren’t working after the migration, and I am hoping to get this figured out. I’m still seeing very tiny backup files with no data attached.

    Is it possible to continue troubleshooting here or should I start a new thread?

    Thanks for the reply, and sorry for the delayed response.
    Increasing “pages to show at most” didn’t change anything. My grid-style archive still only show 8 at a time and require a “load more”button

    I have the same issue and the only thing I could figure out was hiding the side-bar altogether with css, but that’s still not letting me change the width of my tiled galleries

    Ok, with a lot of fiddling I feel like I’m getting close.

    To get rid of the sidebar I put the follow styles in:

    Now depending on how you want the site to look, you can mess with the margin/padding number (here 50px).

    *As a note, I turned off my header text. If you have that turned on, you’re gonna run into issues. I’ll try to figure out a fix for that later, but for now I’m going with designs that turn the header text OFF…

    So after just the above, there’s quite a lot of white space hanging around the main content, which I’m struggling with.

    I used the follow styles from another thread to beef up the main content (make it wider)

    Easy fix,
    If you go to the EDITOR > CONTENT.PHP
    Find and remove:

    <?php twentyfourteen_post_thumbnail(); ?>

    Or if you’re like me and don’t like to remove things just in case, you can just wrap it HTML comment tags like so:

    <!-- <?php twentyfourteen_post_thumbnail(); ?> -->

    Keeps the featured image for other functions without displaying it in content.
