I have updated to Version 7.8.4 and Version 4.7 on two sites and can confirm that editing and viewing submission details is working correctly.
Is it still broken for people?
I should also mention, I have tested this out on two websites.

Or something like this plugin http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/wpaffi/ but has a prettier link mask and you dont have to add the attribute to hyperlinks.
