Did you delete the files before you uploaded the new ones?
Keep in mind you need to remember or keep some stuff like plugins or themes.
I just did a clean install and it fixed all sorts of stuff. If you have been running said blog for a while, You need to do this.

Heh, hangs head in geek like shame…lol.. tried everything but the download button. I think I need some sleep.
Fixed, lesson for the day. Don’t be lazy and simply upload new files. It will break stuff.
