The file in question is a backup of the database so doesn’t this warning mean that there’s an infection in the database not just the temporary backup file?
I didn’t run it in test mode. I didn’t want to lower the score from what it was and I know that they’re not all zero because the site gets several successful registrations every day.
I ended up removing the recaptcha from wordfence and installing the Fullworks Anti Spam plugin instead, which stops WC spam registrations as well as site and contact form registrations. Thanks @wfphil that’s exactly what’s happening.
The user’s reCAPTCHA score was 0.0000 so changing the threshold score won’t help as I don’t want to open it wide to bots.
Given that there’s very little that we can do to change the user’s reCAPTCHA score, I did wonder what the point of directing them to a contact form is? Wouldn’t it be better to say “sorry, we think you’re a bot so you can’t come in”?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Add to basket icon spinning@conschneider -I see the error now, but that error is on the checkout page, and in fact the checkout page is working as expected. The page we’re having trouble with is the previous one where you add the product to basket – it successfully adds but never refreshes, leading customers to believe they haven’t bought the product. There is no js error on that page.
As part of trying to debug this error, I found that the error would go away if I deactivated NextGen gallery, but the error only started happening recently (within the last week) so I assumed it was caused by a recent plugin or core update. I’ve cloned the site to another environment and reverted to an earlier version of WP, and of both Woocommerce and NextGen plugins, but the error still happens, so it hasn’t been caused by a plugin update.
Permanently deactivating either Woo or NextGen just isn’t an option. They’re both integral to the site.
Any ideas on where else we can look?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Add to basket icon spinningHi @conschneider. I’m working with @solidblueliquid on this and I can’t for the life of me see an error message anywhere. Where did you find it?

In reply to: Text widget problems on Windows 10Thanks for the reply.
The problem was actually on a pagebuilder text widget, not the WP one – I thought they were related because of the recent changes to the WP text widget. And I got confused because the problem only appeared on certain devices.
As you suspected, the pagebuilder plugin was causing the problems. It hasn’t been updated for a long time so I suspect it’s now dead.
Many thanks for your input.
